crazy for jil sander now.

as a stylist, i tend to notice the proportions and general ensemble more than an individual piece of clothing, because the overall play appeals just as much as the intrinsic value of a singular item. i loved the styling of the spring showcase from jil sander, mostly because i could imagine this on a regular fashion person. the lengths and fit, or the lack of rather, creates a vision of a wearer who doesn't care too much to plan and ponder on what to wear. right down to the fact that they sent models out with two bags in hand; it's a fact -- we lug our lives around we are almost always with a paperbag. so why not make that paperbag jil sander and leather?
